Fall 2023 Classroom Survey Feedback
Instructors were asked what size classroom they typically use. Responses are as follows:
- 73.5% selected 20-50 student seats (standard presentation)
- 13.3% selected 51-75 student seats (small lecture hall)
- 13.3% selected 75-400 student seats (large lecture hall)
Instructors were asked to select their modality and teaching style. Some survey participants submitted multiple answers which are included in the results. There were 102 Respondents, 188 Answers, 9 Modalities/Styles. Responses were as follows:
- 37.2% Face-to-face Interactive - In-person only where discussion and activity are between the instructor and students.
- 24.5% Face-to-face collaborative - In-person only discussions and activity-based interaction primarily student to student.
- 19.1% Face-to-face Lecture - In-person only where material is presented from instructor to students with minimal interaction.
- 8.5% Hybrid Interactive - In-person and remote attendees where discussion and activity are between instructor and students.
- 5.3% Hybrid Lecture - In-person and remote attendees where material is presented from instructor to students with minimal interaction.
- 3.7% Hybrid collaborative - In-person and remote attendees where discussion and activity based interaction primarily student to student.
- 0.5% Hybrid - remote asynchronous content online and in-person, face-to-face sessions for group discussions and activities.
- 0.5% Face-to-face collaborative where every student needs access to outlets 100% of the time.

Classroom Technology Support
Instructors were asked what training type is the most beneficial to them:
- 35.8% Online Webinar System training session (30-60 minutes)
- 20.3% Group Training Sessions (30-60 minutes)
- 17.9% One-on-one system demo/practice windows (10-15 minutes)
- 14.6% One-on-one system demo/practice windows (30-60 minutes)
- 5.7% Nothing, None, n/a
- 4.1% Written or online guide
- 1.6% Asynchronous webinar, youtube video
Awareness and use of Hotline phone numbers to call for assistance
- 80.4% are aware of the hotline phone numbers
- 66.7% have contacted our support team
